Battlefield 3 Beta Version

October 1, 2011 in Gaming

Battlefield 3, one of the most wanted games this year, had released its beta version on September 29th for Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC. Thousands of players have already started enjoying the entirely-new game just after it went public. However, since it is only a beta version, there is only one game mode and one map available to the public. They have decided to use rush as the beta’s default game mode- possibly due to the popularity in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. And since this is only a beta, I have personally experienced some minor bugs that can be easily fixed before the release. There are also no vehicles available in the beta mode, so us gamers can only enjoy half of the game’s full potential. The beta only goes up to October 10th, so if you want to try it out, I recommend you to get it as soon as possible.

Please note that there will be a full-length review on this game once the game comes out…

App review: Blast Monkeys

September 21, 2011 in Android, Gaming, Main Blog, Uncategorized

Name: Monkey Blast
Category: Arcade & Action
By: Yobonja
Price: Free
Requirements: Android 2.2 and up
Plomonet rating: 8/10

Blast monkeys is a game with an extremely simple concept. Very similar to games like cut the rope and angry birds, the basic aim of the game is to get your monkey, “Moki” to the goal while collecting the 3 bananas by shooting your monkey to the right direction.

It’s a very addicting game in it’s own sense, the simple, yet often tedious task makes you spend hours trying to get through the levels. You get bubbles which help you float like in cut the rope, and collecting 3 bananas on the way (3 candies in the case of cut the rope) seems like it’s just a rip off.

Nonetheless, the game itself is free and it’s a lovely game to play, so I definitely recommend getting it. It’s free so there’s no worry of being a non-credit card holder and you can still have it on your phone. Some levels often seem impossible to clear, which is great in the sense that you never run out of things to do. As well as this, there are 30 levels on each world, and there are over 4 worlds, making it another one of those games where you never run out of levels to play. You can unlock new worlds using coins which you obtain throughout the game, and I believe you obtain these by getting the bananas on each level.

The only downfall of this game is the quality of the graphics. I wouldn’t say that this game offers a great quality in terms of graphics, but the sheer number of levels as well as the amount of thought put into each level makes it a great game to play. After all you don’t really need crazy HD graphics for a game where you are simply trying to get a monkey head to the goal.

It’s a great time killer so we definitely recommend it. If you know any other great free games for android that you would like to see a review of, feel free to email the admin at admin@plomonet.com and we will consider reviewing.
