A Little Glass A Ton of Class

December 10, 2012 in Accessories, iPhone, Lifestyle, Main Blog, Phones, Product, Slideshow

No matter what device you chose to rock, be it an iPhone, Android, or *Shudder* a Windows Phone, it is always important to protect your it. Cases are simple, slip or snap them on and you are good to go, no problem. Screen protecters, on the other hand, are much different, and have practically become the bane of my existence. I do not know what it is, but I can never get them on just right; they are so hard to line up perfectly without stretching them out. Then, when you finally get it on, what do you have to show? A bubbling, linty screen protector and a few more stomach ulcers. I was beginning to believe that it was something I was going to have to live with… that is, until I stubbed upon the: Shell Shock G-Class for iPhone 4s. The awesome people at Cellairis kindly provided me one to test out, and I am beyond impressed.

The Product:

The Cellairis Shell Shock G-Class is a screen protector unlike any other, this is because it is made of GLASS. Yes GLASS, how great is that!? To be specific the Shell Shock is made of “Impact Resistant Tempered Glass”, and boasts other features such as HD Crystal Clarity, Scratch Resistance and a Precision Fit. Now any company can make exaggerated claims, but the Shell Shock holds true to every one.

The Package:

The packaging is pretty simple, nothing to extraordinary; it was easy to open however, which was nice. Inside I found one Shell Shock front protector, one cleaning cloth, one home button cover, and one back protector. Pretty straight forward, so I’ll move on.

The Application:

I am slightly a perfectionist, so the thought this was going to be torturous for me. I was dead wrong. Applying the Shell Shock could not be any simpler. Simply clean you iPhone’s screen, remove the backing, align the protector and drop it down. Since the screen protector has only an opaque top and bottom aligning the for edges of the screen is a easier than coming up with a metaphor to describe its simplicity. After dropping it into place, give it a quick wipe with the cleaning cloth to make sure it is stuck down, and then remove the plastic sheet on the front. That is about where I almost started hyper ventilating. I was shocked, no bubbles, no peeling, no specks of anything, just my perfect retina screen. Then I touched it, ooohhhh so nice, It is actually hard to tell I have a screen protector on. After calming my self down, I applied the home button cover. Since the glass is in fact .56mm thick, the home button cover raises the button to just about flush with the screen. I also learned a neat little trick for placing it on perfectly; simply get a piece of scotch tape and stick it to the top of the cover. Then remove the backing and align it using the tape. All you have to do is press it down tight and remove the tape. The logo on the home button is different, so if you are sentimental about your rounded square you are plum out of luck, but I rather think power button-esque  look is quite elegant. I did not apply the black plate, but if you have a bumper I would recommended doing so. It is not made of glass, but it does appear to be made of a heavy duty glossed plastic.

The Week Later:

So I have had the Shell Shock G-Class screen protector for about a week now, and I am still deeply impressed with it. There is still no sign of any sort of bubbling or peeling, and there isn’t a scratch to behold. Yet that is not surprising due to the fact that the screen as a 531.56 MPa strain of surface. (Safety glass is 100 MPa). I have a feeling that this is the beginning of a very good relationship. There a few minor drawback that I have noticed, and I must stress MINOR, they are barely worth mentioning. First, I have noticed an occasional lack in sensitivity on the lock screen, but only on the lock screen, which leads me to believe that it may just be a software issue. Also, since the screen protector is only transparent for the screen part, when looking at an extreme angle, I do not know why you would, the screen is slightly cut off due to the depth of glass. Last, while the package does claim to be fingerprint free, I have noticed that there are some, but only if my fingers are a little oily. Again those are minor issues.

The Overall:

So overall, I am glad to own the Shell Shock G-Class screen protector. It is so natural feeling that it is like rocking a naked iPhone without having to worry about damage. A true dream come true. Just a side note, make sure your case can fit the extra thickness of the screen protector. Other than that, I would gladly recommend the Shell Shock to anyone fed up with conventional screen protectors. You can get one HERE for $39.99 for just the front or $49.99 for both pieces, a little hefty but definitely worth it. The Shell Shock also comes in multiple colors if you are feeling fun. Take a look Cellairis’ website a look HERE, for more awesome accessories and follow them on FacebookTwitter, Instagram, or Pintrest for more information about product releases.

Bluetooth Quiver Definitely A Bullseye

October 4, 2012 in Accessories, iPhone, Lifestyle, Main Blog, Product, Slideshow

The great people Dew Motion recently gave me the chance to review their Quiver Bluetooth and I am pleased to say I really like it. The Quiver is exactly what it sounds like, except instead of storing arrows it holds smartphones.

The Bluetooth Quiver is quite simple in design, really all it is is a long pouch with a toggle stick. However it is this simplicity that makes the Quiver so awesome.

The Use:

The Bluetooth Quiver is pretty easy to use. Just slip the quiver over your shoulder or waist and tighten as you would a backpack or belt. Dew motion designed the Quiver so it can be comfortably worn either way depending on what activity you are doing. As I am a runner mostly, I tend to use it mainly as a belt, especially during on the hotter days. While connected to Bluetooth all I have to do is slip your phone away in the convenient front zipper, and extend your headphone which feed through a hole in the back. When connected you also are able to use the toggle on the front to change your volume, song or even answer a call.

The Good:

The Quiver is great at keeping everything I need right with me. When I run I want to focus on my form and improving, not worry about which pocket can I keep my key and other valuables in where it will be comfortable and I won’t loose them. Not to mention that regardless of the light-weightiness of the iPhone, it might as well be a lead block when you run with it in your hand. The Quiver is fairly comfortable and is a convenient way to control my music without having to fiddle with my iPhone

The Bad:

There are only a few things that bugged me. First of all the Bluetooth unit is slightly cumbersome and was difficult to set up at first. Also if I use the Quiver without a shirt on, I have noticed that it does chafe a little bit. Lastly, the fastening alligator clip that can be used to secure the Quiver to your pants, does not remain tight. (However I did fix this by simply tying it.)

The Overall:

Overall I love the Quiver. It is perfect for anyone who loves to be outside but still enjoys being connected to the rest of the world or who just loves listening to music while being active. For $100, it is decently priced, especially since the Quiver is so versatile and solidly constructed. You can pick one up HERE. The Quiver also comes in non-Bluetooth variety.

Cookiecase Touch Could Use Some More Cooking

July 3, 2012 in Accessories, Main Blog, Music Players, Product, Slideshow

The nice people at Cookiecat LLC recently gave me the privilege to review what had the potential to be the most awesome iPod Touch 4g case ever. Introducing the Cookiecase Touch.

The iPhone 4/4s is a gorgeous design, I simply love it, yet unfortunately the iPod Touch 4g is still stuck with the rounded aluminium back. Therefore when I came across this magical case I leapt at the opportunity to review it. The Cookiecase Touch makes your iPod look like an iPhone, how awesome is that?

The Aesthetics:

The Cookiecase Touch features a two-layer design; a hard polycarbonate shell reinforced with an aluminium edge. All of the buttons are replaced with buttons on the case that are 90 degrees to case, making them much easier to press.

The back of the case is polished and glossy. It hides fingerprints very well, however it picks up micro-scratches like a magnet. The back is also translucent, allowing the Apple logo as well as any custom engraving to show through. There is a cutout for the camera and microphone that is pretty standard, however I have noticed that when taking photos where a particularly large light sources is prevalent such as the sun, I saw some interference due to the refraction of light though the back of the case around the lens.  But then again, the iPod Touch does not take great photos anyways.

The case is quite slim, it only adds 3.0 mm (H) x 3.0 mm (W) x 0.8 (D) mm to the profile of the iPod Touch. The case if flush to the screen so while you get that edge to edge beauty, the case is not really meant for setting the iPod face down.

The Functionality:

The Cookiecase Touch greatly improves the use of all of the power and volume buttons. It also leaves the headphone and 30 pin connector ports open and usable without removing the case. When playing games or using the device in general I found that the aluminium band and rectangular form factor provide a comfortable grip on the device. Taking pictures or changing volume is a snap, and my drop-on-my-face-when-laying-down-ratio has definitely decreased which is a plus. One last bonus of the Cookiecase Touch is the great deception of appearing you have an iPhone 4/4s, or to someone very out of the loop, the iPhone 5.

The Bad:

Time for the bad… Unfortunately the Cookiecase Touch has a few negatives that can not be overlooked. First of all I mentioned the light refraction and micro-scratches, however those are not so severe. The main problem I encountered was subsurface cracks that then led to pieces falling off. Not something you would expect by a “Premium” case. The two bottom corners where the metal ends leaving an opening for the ports is where I first noticed the problem. Since the case is snap on, each corner has a small plastic edge that hold the iPod in place. However this is where the cracks and eventually breaks occurred, rendering the case unstable/useless. I have superglued this case numerous times trying to hold it on, and I am pretty sure I ended up gluing the case to my iPod. This should not have occurred though, and I am upset that it did. Alas there is more bad. Dropping my iPod onto a carped floor or a bed from a low high often results in the separation of case and iPod, which defeats the purpose of even having a case. The last bit of bad that has bothered me is that the edges of the case, where the gap in the metal is, is sharp. So sharp in fact that I have cut myself by holding the case wrong. The edges also get snagged on loose strings when I pull it out of my pocket of my pants.

The Overall:

So there you have it. The Cookiecase Touch by Cookiecat LLC. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with the case. Overall I give the case 3 Stars. The case is stunningly sleek and sexy, all of the aesthetics of the iPhone for only $35 dollars. Yet while the case holds strong in appearance and functionality, it falls short in quality of design. I would expect the case to hold together better for the price.  The Cookiecase Touch can be purchase HERE, as long as your careful I would recommend it, but if your not I suggest you find something that offers a little more protection.

Charge Up With Summer!

June 19, 2012 in Android, Business, Business, Computers, iPad, iPhone, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Mac, Main Blog, PC, Phones, Product, Slideshow, Tablets, Travel, Travel, Travel, Travel, Travel

So summer is here and the sun is shining, but now you have a terrible dilemma. You want to be outside but the electricity is inside, so what do you do? What if I told you, that all you had to do was strap on a backpack and you would be good to go? I know you may be thinking “Awww, it’s summer; schools out, I don’t wanna wear a backpack.” Just hear me out. Samsonite developed a very light weight that makes a great travel bag, laptop tote, or overnight rucksack. Introducing the Samsonite Solar Powered Backpack.

While the Solar Backpack clearly lacks creativity in name, Samsonite obviously chose to spend that time on the actual product. Time well spent, in my opinion.

The Use

The Solar Backpack goes on like a normal backpack, no surprise there. I found the straps and back to be extremely comfortable, even when carrying a laptop and a few books. Here is where it gets interesting though. The Solar Backpack has a 12v adapter (a car charging port) attached to the front pocket and connected to a solar panel. With this port you can plug in any adapter that you would normally plug into a car and supply power to that device. The backpack works great on iPhone, iPads, iPods, and numerous other portable devices. The smaller devices can be charged in about 4 hours of sunlight, while larger electronics will take longer. One trick that I do is use my USB Power Bank, a portable power pack, and have that connected to the backpack and always charging when in the sun, then I just plug in my devices into that and I can have power regardless of whether I have sun or not.

The only problem I had with Samsonite was that they do no provide a USB car adapter, therefore I had to purchase my own to use with my iDevices.

The Compartments

The Solar Backpack is a treasure trove of pockets. The Backpack consists of three main compartments ranging to the largest, which can accommodate a laptop up to 15.9 inches along with some books, to the smallest front panel which is great for storing all of those gadgets. On the outside you will find a side zippered pocket as well as a mesh water bottle holder, both of which are good sized. The only problem I have noticed with the compartments is that there is no hole in the front one to feed a charging cable out to a device or headphones from a charging device to my ears.

The Solar Panel

I thought I would breifely mention the quality of the solar panel. It is flexible and durable, and it appears that it will be able to withstand a beating, which is good especially if you are a frequent traveler and choose to use this bag as your carry on. The only problem I have noticed is that the both the solar panel and the backpack get quite hot, expectantly so, considering they are black and sitting out in the sun. I just worry that a laptop might get overheated in these conditions, so be careful.

 The Overall

Overall the Samsonite Solar Powered Backpack is a great product. It is very spacious and comfortable as well as durable. The solar technology works great at topping up my devices and I take comfort in the fact that I can now venture outside without having to worry about dead batteries. The only problems I had were the lack of an adapter as well as a headphone hole and, the excessive absorption of heat. The Solar Powered Backpack can be purchased HERE originally for $300, but right now it is ON SALE FOR $134.99!! So get it while its hot! I give it 4.5 Stars because of the minor problems.

Review: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

June 4, 2012 in Gaming, Main Blog, Product, Slideshow

The new Ghost Recon launched on May 22nd this year, and it’s hoping to be one of Ubisoft’s best-selling game this year, along with the future release of Assassin’s Creed 3 a few months from now.

This game is known for it’s 3rd person and partial 1st person shooting experience. The concept of the gameplay was very well thought out; the graphics, maps, weapons, characters, etc, were all integrated nicely into this game. Very few games this year had the idea bringing futurism into shooter games (except for the upcoming Black Ops 2), as players may see the game as unrealistic- HALO is a good example.

The multiplayer experience is satisfying owing to the fact that I do see some room for improvement. In my opinion, the gameplay is great, however, it is the user interface, and very minor issues with the menu layout that brings the multiplayer mode down a little. On the other hand, the single player mode is great. The plot, characters, and the missions got me on the edge of my seat numerous times. I haven’t had any problems that stopped me from having fun on this game, and I am looking forward to any single or multiplayer DLCs in the future.

The Good

  • Great gameplay (both multiplayer and single player modes)
  • Great concept of future warfare
  • Pretty realistic
  • Very fun to play
  • Has both 3rd and 1st person (only aimed down sight) features
The Bad
  • User Interface may be improved
  • Controls are hard to get used to for players who haven’t played this game before
  • Players may not prefer 3rd person shooting
Though Ghost Recon games are known for its 3rd person experience, I would really like to play a first person mode of this game just to feel the contrast of it.
Plomonet rating: 9/10

Look Mom, No Hands!

May 22, 2012 in Accessories, Business, Computers, Education, Entertainment, Gaming, Gaming, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Mac, Main Blog, PC, Product, Productivity, Productivity, Slideshow, Travel, Travel

The mouse. The Achilles’ Heel of the computer. The mouse is one of the greatest nuisances that computer users have to deal with, we just want to open what we want without hassle. Yet touchscreen computers are just to expensive, and that iPad next to you just doesn’t cut it yet. The Ion Wireless Air Mouse by Bellco Ventures Inc brings us one step closer.

The Design:

The Ion Air Mouse’s design is relatively simple. It consists of a partial glove with an attached sensor that runs a cable to

the finger where the mouse buttons for clicking are strapped on. Positioned on the sensor there is an on/off switch, the

micro-usb charging port and three LED lights, for charging status, power, and active or not. The finger p

ortion has three buttons; left click, right click, and pause. In order to connect the Air Mouse to your computer you simply plug in tiny USBdongle into you computer and your good to go. I like that Bellco chose this method of connection over something like bluetooth because it provided a stronger connection that is unaffected by interference. The Air Mmouse is compatible with Mac, PC, and Linux, with the only requirement being a USB port.

The Operation:

Using the Air Mouse could not be simpler, just slip the glove on and adjust it to your had, do the same with the finger tip, then plug in the adapter into your computer and wait for the drivers to install. Once that finishes, turn on the mouse and your ready to start clicking. The mouse does take some getting used to, but you can always adjust your computer’s mouse settings to make it easier. With the air mouse, just move your hand in the direction you want the cursor to move and then left or right click your heart away. If you want to readjust the position of your hand, or you need to type, just click the pause button and the Air Mouse’s motion sensing becomes inactive, but leaving clicking functionality available.

The Uses:

I must say, the Ion Air Mouse is very versatile. It works great for everyday use, but it really shines when you get a little creative. When I hook up my laptop to my TV, I can now just sit back and do all my controlling needs from the comfort of my couch. No longer will I have to get up over and over again to change the volume between fight seen and whispering dialogue. The Air Mouse also works well for presentations; the other day in fact, I used the Air Mouse for a presentation in English class, the mouse gave me the versatility to move around the room, while still being able to advance the slides.

The Overall

Overall, the Ion Wireless Mouse, is pretty awesome. It is the ultimate ergonomic device and looking like you’re part robot is an added bonus. The simple set up and use is great and the mouse is fun to use. The only draw back is that it does take some getting used to. I would give it 4.5 stars for sure. You can buy it for 79.95 Here.

SMS Audio STREET By 50 Headphones Rock My World

April 16, 2012 in Accessories, Android, Entertainment, Entertainment, iPad, iPhone, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Main Blog, Music, Music, Music, Product, Slideshow

Music is one of the main reasons I purchased my iPod Touch in the first place, yet Apple’s headphones, while iconic, are severely lacking in quality. Enter STREET by 50 Headphones. These super stylish headphones are incredible, not only are they super comfortable but they also look great wearing around your neck, meaning you can embrace your inner hipster and walk the boulevard in fashion.

The Presentation:

I have to hand it to SMS Audio, their packaging is quite stunning. I could tell just by looking at the box, that they spared no expense for these headphones. Inside you’ll find the STREET by 50 Headphones of course, a convenient carrying bag, cleaning cloth, owners manual, and also as an added bonus, an airplane adapter which is great if you travel a lot.

The Design:

The STREET by 50 Headphones are a pair of over-the-ear headphones, they come in blue with black or black with blue and feature leather padded ear cups and head band. The headphones are gorgeous with a matte trim and elegant logo. The 3.5mm cable is decent in length, and is completely detachable from the headphones like other high end pairs. The cable also has mic/music controls, great for playing or pausing music, changing the track, or calling up Siri. The microphone is well positioned and will capture every word you speak.

Durability:

SMS Audio prides themselves on the durability of their headphones, the Street by 50 are no exception. SMS Audio uses a custom polymer plastic that is stronger and more flexible than alternative headphones. In fact, they are so confident on the durability that they dared me to try and break them, I passed them up on that offer; but 50 Cent himself didn’t, so check that out below. The only downside to this construction is the headphones do not fold up for travel, but SMS Audio claims that they purposely did this to create a more secure product.

The video cannot be shown at the moment. Please try again later.

Another plus of the STREET Headphones is the design of the ear cups. SMS Audio uses sound absorption gaskets, fancy for overlapping seams and lots of padding materials, which provide very minimal sound leakage; meaning no matter what you may be listening to,  I won’t judge, no sound will be heard by others. The Street headphones also include Passive Noise Cancellation, this means that instead of canceling outside noise by producing an opposite frequency SMS  Audio chose to keep your music pure, and engineered the acoustics and mechanical construction to produce 95% Total Harmonic Distortion sound, which means when your music is playing, that is all you’ll hear.

The Sound:

Okay, by now you are probably wondering, “when is he gonna get to how these sound?” Well reader the time is now; the STREET by 50 produce stunning sound. Like melted butter, your music will flow into your ears, warming your soul. On a serious note, the sound is astounding. Every note is crystal clear, each melody is literally music to my ears. The bass is freaking awesome; each WHOMP WHOMP WHOMP can pound your brain in to mush, if your so inclined. The volume range is great as well. I generally keep my volume slide just past the play/pause button in the music app, yet with the STREET Headphones  I can place it about half as far and still hear just as well.

The Overall:

So there you have it, my take on the SMS Audio STREET by 50 Headphones. In case you’ve decided to skim my article, and merely look at the pictures, let me break it down for you.

Good: Audio Quality, Comfort, Style, Packaging, Music Control

Bad: Not Collapsible, A Little Large

With a $249.00 price tag, they are a little on the pricey side, but still they are right along line with the other top of the line headphones. I definitely think they are worth it, 4.7 stars for sure. I mean I do wish they could collapse, but SMS Audio knows best, so I take comfort in the fact that my headphones will outlast my friend’s Beats.

Richard Solo Super Power Bank

April 2, 2012 in Accessories, iPad, iPhone, Lifestyle, Music Players, Phones, Product, Productivity, Productivity, Tablets, Travel, Travel, Travel, Utilities, Utilities, Utilities

I love to travel, but I hate feeling that I have to ration my remaining battery charge like it’s the Great Depression. Watching the battery percent drop is like watching the stock market in free fall. So, that is why I am always looking for a new portable way to keep my iDevices fueled. This is where the Richard Solo Super Power Bank comes in. This small device, about the size of a wallet, is sleek, sexy, and powerful.

The Design:

The Super Power Bank is a slim black box with a gorgeous chrome bevel, three ports, four light LED indicator, and of course a power button. The power button is flush to the device, making it hard to find without looking, but preventing accidental button pushes. The LED lights display when the Power Bank is charging or with a single tap of the power button. Four lights correspond to the amount of power available for withdrawal from the bank. 1 LED flashing = less than 20%; 1 LED solid = 20-40%, 2 LEDs = 40-60%, 3 LEDs = 60-80%, and 4 LEDs = 80-100%.

The Specs:

The Super Power Bank has three ports along it’s frame. One is the micro USB in, the other two are USB charging ports for iDevice, smartphones, etc. Charging port 1, labeled OUT 1A, is designated for smaller devices requiring a 1A connection, where as charging port 2, labeled OUT 2.1A,  is for larger device such as the iPad as well as the smaller devices. The Super Power Bank conains a 6600 mAh Li-polymer battery that is pretty kick-ass. I ran some trials to gauge about how powerful the bank is; here are the results:

Using only the Super Power Bank and moderate/ heavy usage I was able to bring my iPod Touch from 10% to 100% for a whole week until I need to deposit more energy into the bank. That is about 10 or so recharges. For just one recharge it took 10 minutes to charge the first 30%,  an hour to charge another 45% and my iPod was back to 100% within 2 hours of when I started. That is definitely a lot faster than my wall outlet can put out.

What Do You Get?

So when you open up the hard plastic from Richard Solo, what do you get? You get: The Super Power Bank of course, and a small coiled USB to micro USB connector. That’s pretty much it, but hey it is whats on the inside that counts right?

One More Thing:

If you order the Super Power Bank before April 30, which I highly recommend, just enter Plomonet into the coupon field for 20% off.

Overall:

Overall, The Super Power Bank by Richard Solo is an excellent portable charger. It has a great form factor, can charge two devices at once, and is quick and efficient. For the price of $59.95 it is definitely worth it. Check it out here

I give it 4.5 stars for sure.

TwinGo! App Review

March 10, 2012 in Entertainment, Gaming, iPhone

I have a new app review for you all; a game called TwinGo!

Chillingo has released a new app called TwinGo! This puzzle game involves two cute little spheres who do everything together. The title suggests they are twins, but they must be fraternal since I see little resemblance. The object of this game is to roll these guys around collecting the three stars and land them on their color coordinated launch pads. This puzzle game forces you to think five steps ahead, and lets you know when you found the best solution. But don’t worry if you mess up, there is a handy undo button to go back in time. Using walls is the only way to separate the spheres but be careful break away blocks can only support you for once before giving way adding an additional level of challenge to the game.

The Graphics:

The animations are nothing short of what you would expect from Chillingo. The cute little spheres have adorable expressions and grow agitated when you pause for two long or you roll of the edge. The graphics load fast from level to level and restarting the level is quite fast. Every thing moves in the background and foreground allowing you to get lost in the gorgeous pixels easily.

The Music:

Again Music is important to me, and this game does not disappoint. The music is tropical and fun; something that reminds me of  a old Mario game. Sound effects are minimal, which is fine for me, since I sometimes find them distracting in excess.

 Overall:

In the end, I love this game. It provides a great challenge on each level and gets more fun as time goes on. With 90 levels I will definitely spend a lot playing this game.

TwinGo! is $1.29 on iTunes and you can go check it out Here. I give it 4 stars for sure.

The Drop Out Drops My Jaw

March 3, 2012 in Entertainment, Gaming, iPhone, Slideshow, Uncategorized

The Drop Out Welcome Screen

I recently purchased a new game called The Drop Out, from the App Store; and let me tell you this game might just be the next big thing. I have only had the game for a few days, but so far I am impressed.

The Gameplay

While the concept of this game is not overly complex, it is surely intuitive. If you enjoy playing Angry Birds, then this one will become an instant favorite for you. The goal of each level is to save each Furrie by shooting a Boo at them to knock them off the screen. Simply pull back and release to send a Boo flying. As the game advances Evil Furries begin to appear, save one of them and you’ll loose points. Also, as you progress the Boos begin to develop special abilities to help you along your way. The physics of this game are astounding. As a physics student myself, I can tell you that they are spot on. Each Furrie falls realistically, often setting of a chain reaction.  So far there are 120 levels, but more are promised to follow.

The Graphics:

The graphics are defiantly what you would expect from a top notch game. The developers at Digital Poke Labs knew what they were doing, creating levels that are not only are crisp and clean but also aesthetically pleasing.  The Drop Out looks amazing on the retina screen. The menu layout is similar to the that of games such as Angry Birds and each menu screen is simple to navigate. The animations are well done as well. Scrolling on the level select is smooth and during game play, I noticed no lagging.

The Sounds:

For me, sound is one of the most important aspects of a game. Too little and I might as well be reading a book, too much and I just get annoyed. The Drop Out found the perfect balance. The music is tropical and fun and the sound effects are just adorable. You could probably imagine what these cute little Furries would sound like, and you would be pretty close.

Overall:

Well there you have it, The Drop Out in a nutshell. This game exhibits all the characteristics of a great game. The game play and graphics are superb. I definitely recommend this game if you love puzzle/ action games and I give it 4 stars. For $0.99 its worth checking out: Here
